See below, but here’s their problem… first with the audio, last with the words…

For if the time-line is correct, Auntie had the interview for 36-hours before someone, somewhere spotted the story and wrote from what looks like a London, national perspective…
Advantage lost.

A good point – we’re bang to rights to a certain extent on this and similar examples. As you know Rick, the BBC’s size is its strength and its weakness – fantastic local journalism on the ground to get these stories, and the best and biggest sports website in Europe to provide reach for those stories, and national ones too obviously. The trick will be to make sure stories can get from A to B in an organisation of that size.
The good news, or bad news depending on your pov, is that we’re better than we used to be at this, and will improve further.
But a fair cop with this one, I guess!

As I sure you’re aware, it was never a pop… more of a business pitch…
Cos, fingers crossed, I think we know someone who could get Chris’ audio to your webpages in a very nice, sticky form… and not have to wait for a print press to roll before you got it either… we’d do mate’s rates as well…

I did know mate that of course
Still loving the blog Rick – you need to be careful not to make it too interesting because I find myself reading this more often than MFW. Good to see there’s still an outlet for some Waghorn musings …
