Fascinating - particularly as we begin to build an aggregator device into MyLocalWriter. That will be the cake; the cherry on the top will, ideally, be the local journalist that 'cherry-picks' through the scrapings... But just as much as I cling to Shirky's: 'All they want is a good read...' quote, this one from the New York Times' Bill Keller is likewise worth carving in stone: 'What is absent from the vast array of new media outlets is, first and foremost, the great engine of news-gathering - the people who witness events, ferret out information, supply context and explanation...'
